Vision 2020 Award
The original award of $105 million from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation, Vision 2020, began distribution in FY 2012 and continues today as Accelerating Impact.
- From 2012 to 2021, $74.5 million was received to support the development of a state-of-the-art campus in central Ohio, a new medical education facility in Athens, innovative educational experiences for students (including scholarships), expanding community care and advancing collaborative research.

About this report
The 2011 award of $105 million from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation, Vision 2020: Leading the Transformation of Primary Care in Ohio (now known as Accelerating Impact: Medical Student Debt Relief and Research Innovation), was the catalyst for immense, deep-reaching change and progress throughout our college. Many initiatives that receive direct support from this award are highlighted in this report.
